How we handle your information
GetLTLRates is a service of Armstrong Transport Group (“Armstrong”), 1120 S Tryon St, Suite 500, Charlotte, NC 28203. This page describes what happens to the information you give us on this site.
Quote requests
- What we collect: your name, email, and optionally company and phone; the shipment details you enter (ZIP codes, pickup date, freight, pickup and delivery needs, notes); and how you found the site (the referring website and any campaign tags in the link you arrived on).
- Why: to price your shipment, answer your request, and if you choose to ship, set you up as an Armstrong customer.
- Where it goes: your request is stored in the GetLTLRates database (hosted by Supabase) and emailed to Armstrong’s LTL team. Shipment details (not your contact details) are sent to Armstrong’s rating system, which asks LTL carriers for prices. ZIP codes are looked up with a public ZIP-code directory to find the city and state.
- Emails to you: if you request a quote, we may email you a confirmation with your reference number and a private link. These are one-time messages about your request, not a mailing list.
- Private links: the link in a confirmation email expires after 14 days. Anyone who has the link can view that request, so please don’t forward it.
- On your device: the quote form keeps the shipment details you typed (not your name, email or phone) in your browser for up to 24 hours so you don’t lose them if the page reloads.
Free invoice audit
- Files you upload to the invoice audit tool are sent to Anthropic’s Claude AI service, which reads them and returns the breakdown you see on screen. GetLTLRates does not save the files.
- Your name, email and the file name are emailed to Armstrong’s team so they can follow up.
- Anthropic handles the files under its terms for business API customers. See Anthropic’s privacy center for how it treats API data.
Site analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies. Quote reference links and shipment details are removed from the page addresses it records.
