How much does an LTL shipment cost?
An LTL rate is built from your lane, the shipment's freight class, its weight bracket, the current fuel surcharge, and any accessorials (liftgate, residential, inside delivery). Because carrier pricing is negotiated, two shippers moving identical freight often pay very different amounts — which is exactly why comparing carriers on one screen saves money.
Do I need to know my freight class?
No. Enter your pallet dimensions and weight and we calculate density and the NMFC class for you. If you already know the class or NMFC item, you can enter it and we'll use yours — some commodities carry a fixed class regardless of density.
